We’ve Made Some Changes
This years annual Valera Vale Sale looks a bit different.
Where: ‘Avilion’, Greymare (21k West of Warwick)
When: 11th of September at 11am
What: Draft of 100 double polled bulls PLUS 50 2025 drop heifers from the top of the 750 heifers bred in South East Qld.
Our breeding herd is the product of more than 4 decades of unrelenting selection for functionality and fertility in a real world commercial environment.
Temperament - All bulls experience very little handling, allowing for the identification of natural docility rather than educated tolerance of humans.
Anyone that knows us know we love data, and we are proud to be offering such a great line up with bulls with figures to back them up.
We are breeders of commercial Droughtmaster cattle underpinned by the genetics of our bull breeding operation.

As such we are well aware of the profit drivers in the beef industry and realize that a functional breeder herd achieving high survival and calving rates is the main determinant of profitability in breeder and breeder/fattener enterprises.
We don’t waste selection pressure on anything that isn’t related to dollars for a commercial operation.
