Vacancy Position  

Stirling Helicopters is currently the largest operator of Helicopters in the Rockhampton and surrounding regions operating a broad range of helicopter fleet and offering a vast range of professional helicopter services with very experienced and professional pilots.

We are currently seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates looking to support the business by managing our accounts and office functions, as well as assisting with our broader rural operation.

Core duties of the role include:

Maintain office services by organising office operations and procedures; oversee payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Oversee and process accounts for Stirling Helicopters and Eulogie Station by completing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash transactions.
Assist with the daily operations of client requests, email correspondence and telephone communications.
Maintain and update filing and record management systems
Undertake from time to time such other tasks involving the daily operation of the company such as transport of support vehicle / fuel, refuelling of vehicles, washing vehicles and driving to specific destinations for the collection of ordered goods and services.
Assist or carry out tasks associated with the rural operations of Eulogie i.e. cattlework, property maintenance etc.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

Strong operational knowledge of bookkeeping software (preferably Xero, or similar)
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong knowledge of MS Office program, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to work in a rural environment and assist with day to day rural duties as required
Ability to work as part of a larger, multi-skilled team.
The role will be ideally suited to candidates who are skilled in office administration but also share a love of helicopters and the rural industry. The role is based on a cattle property near Dululu in Central Queensland, approximately 1 hour from Rockhampton. The success candidate will be required to live on the property, unless already located in close proximity to the property. Accommodation and power will be provided as part of the employment package.
