Parawanga Droughtmasters
Selling 3 Heifers one Queenslander Bull
Parawanga have a line of three superb heifers for FAB 2026, selling on Monday 9th February at CQLX, Gracemere.
Last year they broke into a new market by presenting three quality heifers at FAB, which has historically never really had successful DM stud heifer sales, and being rewarded with good prices, topping at $5,500 for Parawanga Eimeo, an Eggnog daughter, sold to Sara and Shane Hauschildt.
This year our heifers are again all A grade, show quality, and all certainly capable of breeding great bulls, and the FAB sale usually favours the buyers. For us it is just convenient to send them just up the road.
Also selling a Queenslander herd bull Kenmay 1403(PP) selling as lot 218 Monday Feb 9 at FAB sale, CQLX.
He is by $14,000 registered red brahman Palmvale Quincey (PS) over our registered droughtmaster cow Parawanga 1099, a leggy, high content dark red Calaanah Eggnog (PP) daughter.
Like his sire, he is a delight to handle, just loves attention, and shows great depth and thickness of fleshing in a polled and tidy package.
In October, he scanned EMA 134 and fats 16/12, excellent IMF 5.3% and wt 825kg, scrotal 36, motility 60%. Figures will be more now.
He will make a great herd bull for one lucky buyer.

Lot 237 is 21 months old polled, registered heifer Parawanga Maramie (HP) sire verified by Calaanah Eggnog, in calf to Parawanga Fire and Wine, an Eggnog son with great scale and powerful polled head. Maramia is myostatin negative. She impresses visitors with her outstanding leggy type, femininity, and rich, red sleek coat. She made a big impression on agent inspection, and is worth serious consideration to elevate a stud herd.

Lot 238 at FAB on Monday Feb 9, is Parawanga Isabella (HP) a quiet, polled daughter of Minlacowie Zanzibar, aged 15 months. She will be presented unjoined. The dam is aged 6, with 3 calves.

Lot 239 at FAB Monday Feb 9 is Parawanga Dareen 3 (PP) aged 16 months at sale. She is sire verified by Minlacowie Zanzibar, an Appache grandson. I remember Appache winning grand champion droughtmaster bull at Beef Australia.
Her dam is aged 7 and has had 5 calves. Parawanga Dareen 2 is that winning combination for us of Billabong Alexander over a Billabong Vaughn daughter.
Myostatin negative, registered and unjoined. With her genetics, PP poll, lovely feminine type and great bone and scale, she is a future bull breeder for sure. Don't miss this show quality heifer at FAB
