The Nobbs Families first sold bulls at Moura Saleyards in 1981. Back then, the sale was known as the TAB sale and had multiple vendors.
The founders of this sale were Eric Nobbs (Lyndhurst Stud) and Don Watson (Broadlea Stud). In 2011, the sale was then renamed the Nobbs Families Sale with the Nobbs families as sole vendors.
What started out as a multi-vendor sale with various different families, has now turned into an exclusive family sale. Forty-five years on, we continue to hold an annual sale in the Eric Nobbs Memorial Complex at the Moura Saleyards, offering top quality Brahmans, Charbrays and Brangus bulls.
This sale is dedicated to the memory of our parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, great-grandparents, and the dear friends and founders โ the people whose vision, hard work, and love for the land made everything that followed possible.

Yoman Brahmans is owned and operated by Stewart & Stephanie Nobbs and Tom & Kate Nobbs.
The Yoman prefix has been breeding both red and grey Brahman bulls for over 40 years and has been breeding Brangus and Charbray bulls for the last 15 years.
Yoman also have a commercial herd breeding and fattening bullocks for the Grasslands/EU market.
These commercial cattle have had good success over the years.
Recently, at Beef2024, Yoman came home with two fourth place ribbons and a fifth place ribbon in the highly competitive Commercial Cattle Championship.

Lyndhurst Brahmans is owned by Neal & Linda Lynch.
Lyndhurst aims to supply quality bulls suitable for commercial success.
Their objective is to produce cattle bred for temperament, performance and fertility.
Each year the Lyndhurst team sell at the Moura Bull Sale, with bulls containing genetics from years of selective breeding at Lyndhurst, Biloela.

The Garwin Brahman Stud is owned and operated by Roger & Roslyn Nobbs and Family, located at โWingaraโ in the Bauhinia Downs district.
The Stud commenced in the early โ80โs and was founded on Lyndhurst Stud cows. In 2001, the Stud became EU accredited and began producing steers and heifers for this market.
The Garwin breeding program focuses on high fertility and quiet temperament, while keeping in mind conformation for carcase quality.
Garwin bulls can be purchased at the annual Moura Bull Sale, Rockhampton Brahman Week, and in the paddock where quality young grey and red Brahman bulls and Charbray bulls are on offer.

Cordelia P Charbray Stud is owned and operated by Phillip and Stephanie Nobbs and their three children.
Phillip and his father Chas have been breeding premium quality Charbrays for over 30 years, with a well-known reputation.
The Cordelia P Charbray Stud focuses on breeding quiet, fertile and solid bulls with proven productivity to suit the needs of commercial and stud breeding.
The stud has had many successes with their cattle, including entering them into various trade and carcase competitions.
Cordelia P Charbray Stud has been offering bulls at the Moura Bull Sale for many years.
They also have bulls available for purchase in the paddock, on property, during the winter and spring months each year
