Females for the NFS, 14th March at Gympie Saleyards.

The Billabong/Calaanah draft sell lots 51-60 with 1st progeny of our homebred sire, Billabong Limelight, on offer as well as daughters by the consistent Wajatryn Nardoo 3033, and Mungalla 3920

For generations we have selected our droughtmaster females on their docility, their fertility and their mothering ability.

Our droughtmaster cows must raise a calf every year to earn their place in our paddock.

We look for structurally correct females with well-structured udders and well fed calves. We are firm believers in “Breed cows for your country and bulls for your markets”.

Billabong Droughtmaster are a family operation run by John and Catherine and Anna Powell based at ‘Billabong’ near Moura in Central Queensland, Australia.

The property has been home to the Hicks family for 60 years.
