ALC ON PROPERTY 2025 BULL SALE
The focus at ALC Brahmans, is breeding adapted, low cost of production cattle to supply genetics that make a difference to profit margins for commercial cattle producer’s globally.

Through our management system, any non-earning cattle are converted into dollars, no exceptions made.
Reproduction, survivability, quiet temperament, well-muscled cattle that are efficient at grazing is what best describes the ALC herd.
ALC cattle are tropically adapted and produce beef at a low cost per kilogram.
Results for 2025 ALC Brahmans Bull Sale at Gundaroo held on 2nd July
We sincerely thank our loyal repeat clients and warmly welcome our new clients for their support at our on-property ALC Bull Sale, resulting in 100% clearance of 109 bulls to average $7,165 and top price of $31,000.
Bidding activity on AuctionsPlus was particularly strong this year.
Alf and Louise would also like to thank the ALC team and JW Livestock Services for all the help on the day.
The top priced bull on the day went to Don White of DK Grazing Co, Bridge Creek Station, Adelaide River NT.
Sale bulls will be transported to as far as Western Australia, Northern Territory, North and Central Queensland.
All sale bulls were grass prepared and averaged in the top 5 to 10 % for CP and L.Ex $ Indexes, SS EBV and DTC EBV.
They also averaged in the top 30% for 600-day growth EBV. Many of the bulls were polled or scurred and 77% of the sale bulls were out of two-year-old calving Dams or G.Dams.
All bulls were semen and morphology tested.
We were pleased to receive positive feedback from clients on the day, who are accomplishing amazing results, due to the genetic gain.

ALC Breeding Objectives are as follows:
1. FERTILITY – All breeders wean and rebreed every year.
2. TEMPERAMENT – Breed naturally quiet cattle without the need of excessive handling.
3. MUSCLING – Breed cattle that muscle consistently on any available form of nutrition.
4. SURVIVABILITY – Cows must rear calves with NO assistance. Breed cattle that do well in any given environment at low cost.
5. GROWTH – Produce cattle that grow rapidly with moderate frame size.
6. LOW COST – Breed cattle that work hard for us to produce a profit with minimal inputs.
7. PREDICTABILITY – Have accurate reporting and analysis systems to take out the guess work.
HERD BULLS FOR SALE
Herd Bulls are sold privately from both properties (“Gundaroo”, Nebo and “Tondara”, Collinsville) from July each year.
