About Jim Pola

I moved to North Queensland in 1984 after leaving my home town of Queanbeyan NSW where I worked for the Canberra Times, after settling in Townsville I spent a few years working for the Townsville Bulletin and was then approached to manage the North Queensland Register and this is where I stayed for 25 years.

The North Queensland Register is where I became very passionate for the Beef industry in particular the people and their families.

The passion for cattle lead my son Dean and myself to go into Brahman cattle and we started a small stud called "Polabear Brahmans"and we are having a lot of fun with it.

I will be publishing an online News Letter to keep all of my customers and network informed of what is happening in the North it will include:

One of the biggest challenges for any business is to engage your customers and keep them interested. There are many different brands and messages competing for your buyers' attention. Simply having a presence online is not enough, given this environment we need to drive the traffic to you.
