Struan has sold for $15.9 million  bidding started at 12 million the successful bidders were Sam and Jane Barton Huntley Droughtmasters, the under bidder was David Kane Mirtna station Charters Towers
Virgil Kenny of Elders selling agent said it was a very good sale.

LOCATION
Situated 67km south of Comet and 58km north on Rolleston on the Comet-Rolleston Road.
SERVICES
The property is well serviced by all-weather roads, providing good access to all livestock markets. Export meatworks located at Rockhampton and Biloela. Centrally located to livestock selling facilities at Emerald, Moura, Biloela and Rockhampton. Other services include rural power, internet and mobile coverage, weekly mail service and school bus facilities available to Comet and Rolleston.
AREA AND TENURE
11,179 hectares (27,623 acres) being Lot 5 on WNA106, Parish of Somerby.

COUNTRY AND CULTIVATION
Predominately gently undulating scrub country of Brigalow, Bottle tree and Bone wood, interspersed with Wilga, Yellowwood and sandalwood. Small percentage of higher open ridge country consisting of Bende, Poplar Box, Ironbark, Bloodwood and Bauhinia.
Coolabah, Gum and a percentage of Black Tea-tree is found along the river flats of the Comet River and Humboldt Creek.
