Cockroaches and Mexicans across the border

"I wish Lawrence Lancini was about in the old days we wouldn't be all fly blown now."

Cockroaches and Mexicans across the border just don't know when to give up what a load of crap their latest jolt to stop Queensland having a grand final in the allegations of salary cap cheating was tabled at the Cowboys.

We need more blokes like Lawrence Lancini within the NRL who is looking after player's interest. We are talking about a professional sport.

Lawrence Lancini has said none of his property sales to 10 current and former Cowboys players were discounted, and he made no apologies for advising players on investments.
"I've been with the club for many years and have always said publicly that if we build better men, we build a better club," he said.
"I've been very open with NRL chairman Dave Smith who has been in town with NRL head of integrity Nick Weeks.
"We've told them if they have any concerns we will open our books again and there'll be total transparency.
"Their advice was we've got nothing to investigate."

It's very ironic after the past three years of heart ache trying to win a maiden premiership.
To top it off over the last three years after the Manly try in 2012 Cronulla knock on 2013 last year's and a semi-final a try disallowed.

"I wish Lawrence Lancini was about in the old days we wouldn't be all fly blown now."

I have never seen such bad sportsmanship as this attack on the Cowboys.

Well you be pleased to know the powers to be have also seen the light of trash talk buy the southern media in a press statement.

NRL STATEMENT
Head of Integrity, Nick Weeks said Salary Cap auditors had already reviewed some of the matters raised about the Cowboys today and had determined no further action was required.
"As any new information becomes available it will be reviewed by the auditors," he said

COWBOYS STATEMENT
The North Queensland Cowboys were today made aware of the publication of an article detailing several players' property purchases.
While no specific allegations against the Cowboys were made in the article, the club respects that the NRL may want to speak with the club to discuss any matters relating to issues raised. The club welcomes these discussions.
It also welcomed the NRL's statement today that after a review of some of the matters raised, that 'no further action was required'.
The Cowboys have always acted within the rules of the NRL in relation to the salary cap, which is a fundamental component in ensuring parity across the competition's 16 teams.
