A Good Result at Clermont Beef Bull Sale

All smiles by vendors David and Julie McCamley Palmal Brahmans, Andrew and Lucille Angel Mooramin Brahmans, Andrew and Anna McCamley 2am Brahmans at the Annual Clermont Beef bull sale yesterday.
Buyers flocked to the selling centre at the Clermont showgrounds to see Lot 53 take line honours in topping the sale, there was plenty of talk prior to the sale on this Red polled bull by a good sire in Mt Callan Jed 34\09 (P) after furious bidding the hammer fell at $18,000 and the bull go's to a good home Brian and Glenda Kirkwood Somerview Brahmans.

Three Grey bulls top at $11,000 Lot 15 2am Newman, sold to Andrew and Lucille Angle Mooramin Brahmans, Lot 25 Palmal Dillon $11,000 sold to RM Pastoral and Lot 31 Palmal 6318 $11,000 sold to John Burnett, a great show of local support buying at the sale with, John Burnett picking up 15 bulls' Michael Borg 3 bulls, Peter Misfud, Reklaw Cattle Co, Cremorne Cattle Co, Brendan Moran, Heart2j Cattle Co, Gibham PTY LTD, WH Kettle & co, Collmaringa PTY LTD, Namgooyah Grazing PTY LTD, Mick Clark, Rowe Cattle Co, Rob White Wilangi.

The sale Result Sold 66 Offered 72 bulls for an 88% clearance.
Overall Sale average 4928.
With the Grey Brahmans average 5025 topping three times at $11,000
Red Brahmans average 5727 top $18,000.
