Brahman week Sale

 

822 bulls selling for an overall average of $11,777. Red bulls completed the sale with 322 sires averaging $12,327 while 490 grey bulls sold to average $11,374.

Selling for $70,000, was the Fenech family’s FBC Impact Manso 821/1 sold to David and Joy Deguara, Hamdenvale Brahmans.

Selling for $65,000 was the Kirk family’s Carinya Shane, sold to Garglen Brahmans.

Jim and Bonnie Besley, Bungarribee, Barmoya, sold Bungarribee Imrand 2147 for $85,000 to the Radel family, Kandoona Stud, Injune.

Peter and Joy Newman’s grey bull Rathlyn N Falcon 11697 which sold for $80,000 to Kelvin and Margaret Maloney, Mt Coolon, Kenilworth, on the first day.

Johnson family, Grafton, sold polled sire Jomanda El Toro 802 for a record price of $150,000 sold to Darren and Sue Kent of the Ooline Brahman Stud, Goovigen.

General manager John Croaker said the record price beat the previous top of $90,000 set in 2006.
