440k “Very Very Patchy”

Let me tell you a real eye opener.

440k “Very Very Patchy”

Heading off to the Elders Outback Bull Sale in Longreach, I took the road from Torrens Creek down to Aramac then the 97k across to Ilfracombe then on to Longreach.

What you are about to see in photos and videos is just the way I see it.
Don’t let anyone tell you the country is filling in with the storms about it’s, a big stretch down the back road and let me tell you a real eye opener.

Before we start don’t ring and ask what property’s I took the photos on because I don’t have a clue.

The main things I had notice were that the cattle were not too bad, considering the country side changes so much in less than 10k from drought, to poor, average, and doing all right.

Driving through the Moorinya National Park as we all know it rains in all National Parks this one also was no exception green pick everywhere.

One property I do remember from the old days in my career, Bowen Downs once owned by the Big G and brother Evan Acton its looking all right.

I suppose the old saying if you spot Emus, Brolga’s, and scrub turkeys, it’s bound to rain check the photos.

Let me tell you the cattle job is in trouble if we don’t get rain soon the places that look good also need follow up rain now.

It’s not going to take long before the cattle start slipping anyway judge for yourself the collection of photos and videos down the 440k backroad trip.
